- There are lots of things to do in the area. For serious and recreational golfers alike, Murvagh and Portnoo courses are within 30 minutes of Croagh. There is also a Pitch and Putt course and driving range just 15 minutes away. For those who enjoy hill walking and mountain climbing, the Bluestacks offer an ideal ramble for hill walkers, and Sliabh Liag, which is among the highest sea cliffs in Europe, has some challenging climbs for the more adventurous.
- There is a horse-riding centre within easy reach of Croagh that caters to children and more experienced riders alike. If fishing is your idea of relaxation, Croagh has a variety of lakes and rivers nearby. There is free trout fishing at Lough Namanfin, just a short walk up the road. For those who enjoy water sports, windsurfing, diving, and jet skiing are all available in Portnoo, Rossnowlagh, and Bundoran. St. John’s Point is one of the top spots in Ireland for shore diving and boat dives are available from Coral Beach.
